Designing Your Home

Once the land has been purchased you now move on to one of the most critical aspects of your projects, the design. It is here that the architect learns what your needs and dreams are and designs your home. Our mission during this stage is to get the design right.

In cooperation with architect John Heltzel of Manassas, Spectrum will work with you to design the home of your dreams. With no preconceived plans we literally build your home from the bottom up with every square foot designed to your specifications. We are proud of the fact that no two homes of ours are the same. They each have their own personallity, designed to meet the needs of each of our clients.

You may ask, what is the builder doing during this time? We are glad you asked. During this time all of the necessary site work is being done, permits are being applied for, the grading plan is being finalized. Once we have your design completed we then begin pouring the foundation and your new home begins to take root on the land you have purchased.

Budget and Financing

Spectrum believes that we don't wait until you have designed the home to price it for you. We will be working with you and the architect throughout the design stage to give you an accurate estimate for your projects. So as your making selections throughout the design phase we are working with you to have an accuarate picture of what the home will cost.There will be no surprises when you go to settle. The price we give you is the price you pay.

Once your design meets your approval we break ground. Many factors effect the delivery time one of which we feel the need to stress at this point: We do what it takes to get the job done right. At times this means delays occur but we feel strongly that you deserve our best and we demand it of our company.
